Automotive Services
Fleet Services provides daily services that play a critical role in the maintenance, repair and safety of more than two hundred and fifty vehicles. We pride ourselves in quality workmanship and customer service. Automotive Services operates a full service garage for all of your vehicle needs, including:
- Regular interval maintenance service
- Pickup and delivery of vehicles in need of repair
- Maintain vehicle service records
- Vehicle service cost reports
As a convenience, Faculty and Staff can submit a University Vehicle Maintenance Request through iServiceDesk. Our team will review the request, pick up the vehicle, complete the necessary work and return it to the original parking area.
Motorist Assistance Program
The Motorist Assistance Program (MAP) helps students, faculty, staff, and guests of the University who experience motor vehicle problems while parked on campus. This service is free of charge and includes:
- Jump starts
- Unlocking your vehicles if your keys are locked in
- Providing a container and/or transportation for gasoline if you run out
- Assisting you if you have a flat tire - (This service is limited to providing air for a flat tire only)
For assistance, please call the Office of Parking & Transportation 309-438-8391 office Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., or contact the ISU Police Department 309-438-8631 after 5:00 p.m. and all day Saturday and Sunday. Only lockouts are available after 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and on the weekends.
